So tonight, after the BBQ, im at home in bed and kelsey calls. it seems that at around 1030 charlie escaped from the apartment and decided she wanted to go find a husband. so she takes off and eludes kelsey and james for about a half hour until they both have no idea where shes gone to. At this time kelsey called me and was obviously a little upset. i drove out, feeling pretty bad, and when i got to bay and gladstone i had to slam on the brakes. On the road in front of me there was a cat who had just been run over and was convulsing all over the friggin place, and clearly was not going to make it. So i got out thining the worst, and realized it wasnt charlie and drove up bay st to meet Kels. At this point no one had seen charlie for a long time and in the back of my mind I thought we might not be seeing her again. I started to pray that we would find her and continued as we looked for a few hours. I really felt content, even though part of me really felt like giving up, but I told myself that God cares about the little things that are on our hearts, and that God is in control of every situation we find ourselves in. I did find her after about 2 hours of looking, but charlie really didnt want to come inside, she was enjoying her new found freedom and hadnt found a boyfriend yet.I actually lost her a few times after finding her, but while praying and sneaking up on her using my even more acute reflexes, I caught  her and brought her home.

I felt compelled to post this because I did alot of praying tonight and really felt like God answered my prayers and came through for us. I also have a legitimate reason to call in sick tommorow, which doesnt hurt too bad either. Sorry if this post is all over the place, Im wicked tired, but i wanted to post this tonight.

Alright. time for a friggin update finally. I did pretty decent at the Arnold/ Gracie world submission wrestling championships, won my first match via Tapout due to a triangle choke, and lost my second match by 2 points despite dominating most of the match and being really close to having a couple of submissions locked up.

I also will be training with RENZO GRACIE on may 13th, which may not sound like much but a I assure you, its a big friggin deal.

On a side note, i realized that biking is awesome and have been doing quite a bit of it. Greg James and I got lost in the woods about a week ago while biking and I was pretty sure we were gonna be spending the night out there for a while. maybe we woulda just stayed out there like hermits and invented our own language and lived off the land like mountain men. people would call us savages, but really they just woudnt understand that we are just different than the city folk, but still human. SIGH...
